Pétanque is a game for everyone — male, female, young, and those not so young! Across the continent, there are junior leagues and dedicated training programmes, showing just how inclusive and accessible this sport can be.

Wigginton Pétanque Club has a warm friendly atmosphere and welcomes players of all levels — from experienced competitors to those newly converted to the game. We encourage everyone to take part, regardless of age or ability. Pétanque is a sport to be enjoyed in good company, out in the fresh air, and with a friendly sense of competition. The club holds social events such as quiz nights and BBQ’s roughly once per month.

Coaching and advise is always on hand by those who have been playing for years.
